Fufilling Your Soul's Purpose

Living this life is both inspiring and challenging. If we believe in past lives and consider that we have had many lives, we can gain a different perspective on what this present life is really about for us.

We incarnate to grow, in each lifetime moving deeper into personal mastery, healing, and service to others.

Many Spiritual traditions believe we come with a soul purpose, with intentions to learn certain things or perform specific actions.

A person could intend to learn compassion, kindness, or surrender and have difficult experiences in order to further value the quality. One could be committed to help someone or a group they knew before or one could be deepening their personal wisdom.

When you hold this perspective it changes how you perceive your life. Maybe it isn't about making money, raising a family, or progressing in your work. Maybe all the challenges were perfect because you learned so much.

This point of view opens a whole new opportunity to explore your life!

If you are wanting to know more about what your soul's purpose is consider these questions:

  • What are the themes of my life? Consider relationship, healing, being of service, and growth of self-knowledge.
  • Have you had great struggles and hardship? Have you grown in profound ways from this?
  • If you are feeling you have not met your potential or have a feeling of unfulfillment in this life, is there a way to re-direct it to more meaning?
  • Is there something you are longing to experience or do? This could be part of your purpose.
These are big questions, as you lean into them be sure to give yourself time to let them roll around. See what comes up over time.

Ask Spirit and your Guides to bring you more understanding of your soul purpose in this life...And then congratulate yourself for all you have done.
