June comes in bringing lots of transformational energy. The world is hot with heartbreaking riots, racial atrocities, and still the corona virus.
This month's energies are strong and changeable with two eclipses and multiple planets in retrograde. And yet there is also the chance to lean in with new creativity and new directions.
The first of three summer eclipses, is Friday, June 5th, a full moon, lunar eclipse at 2:12pm, Central time.
Eclipses can bring endings and beginnings, random, life changing occurrences, and shine a ray of illuminating truth to relationships, jobs, and situations.
This particular eclipse is occurring in Sagittarius, on a point where we've not had an eclipse before. Thus, we are stepping into something new.
Astrologer Pam Younghans points out this eclipse is conjunct with a part of the Universe called the Great Attractor making it a far more powerful eclipse.
The doors will open to, "new insights and unexpected viewpoints...We can experience a major shift in our perceptions and beliefs...We will find that our new road is more aligned with that greater destiny we came here to fulfill."

Indeed it is a powerful period...and a time to watch ourselves as tempers can run high.

The next eclipse will be on the New Moon in Cancer on June 20th, the Summer Solstice. I will write more about that in the coming weeks.
Mercury goes retrograde June 17th and will remain there until July 12th. Communication and plans can slow.
